A print copy of the schedule will be provided to you when you check-in for the weekend on campus.
Many of our events begin as early as 9:00 AM on Friday. We encourage you to consider arriving in St. Louis on Thursday evening in order to take full advantage of all of our programs and events.
**Please note that some of the programs and events listed in the schedule are sponsored by student organizations. Student organizations have the option to publish these events in our schedule and coordinate the ticket purchasing process through the First Year Center; however, not all chose to do so. Additionally, some student groups choose to host student-only events over Parent & Family Weekend.
The WashUEvents Mobile App is an easy and convenient way to navigate our events on your Apple (iOS) and Android smartphones and tablets. It contains all of the event information that you’ll need to make the most out of your experience. More information on the 2018 mobile schedule app will be posted in September 2018.
At check-in, we will provide you with a list of courses that are available to observe on Friday, October 26th. Feel free to attend classes with or without your student. If your students is in a class that is not on the list we provide at check-in, please have your student speak with their faculty member to ensure it is appropriate for you to attend. There are some small seminar courses that do not have additional seats in the classroom space. Additionally, it is possible some of these courses have scheduled quizzes or exams on Friday, October 26th. If you arrive to a course and this is the case, we ask you to find another to attend.
Please note, very few classes are offered on Friday after 2:00 PM. If attending classes interests you, please plan accordingly. Another note, at Washington University, classes begin 10 minutes after their published start time. For example, a 10:00 AM class does not begin until 10:10 AM, this allows our students to travel between academic buildings.
