Engineering Summer Weekend

Thursday, July 11 - Saturday, July 13, 2013
This is an opportunity for students in the School of Engineering and Applied Science to register for classes, learn more about the different fields of Engineering, and meet faculty, students, and staff with an interest in this area.

Students who can not attend ESW will be able to register on-line for classes in mid July.

The registration fee for the visit weekend is $225.00.  This includes room, linens and towels, meals, and social activities; the registration fee will be billed through your student account.

Registration for Engineering Summer Weekend is now open and will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registration will close on June 28, 2013.

Engineering Summer Weekend is FULL.  You may still register to be added to the waitlist.  You will be notified no later than Monday, July 1st if you have been removed from the waitlist and enrolled in the program.

As a reminder, your $225 Engineering Summer Weekend fee will be charged to your student account.  If you need to cancel your registration, you must send a written message to The First Year Center by Friday, June 28, 2013 in order to receive a full refund.  If you choose to cancel after June 28, 2013, or do not attend Engineering Summer Weekend, your student account will be assessed the full $225 fee.

 

 

 

Travel Planningimage

When making travel arrangements, please plan to arrive by 2:00PM on Thursday, July 11th.  Check-in will occur from 12:00PM - 2:00PM at Mudd House, located on the South 40.

Students arriving by plane need to arrange their own transportation from the airport.

There is no formal programming on Saturday, so you may depart at any time.  However, you must leave the residence halls by noon on Saturday.


Plan to check in for your flight at least 1.5 hours prior to departure time. Students need to arrange their own transportation from campus to the airport. If you are planning on taking a taxi, you will need to call ahead (we will help you do this). Please factor travel time to the airport into your planning.
